2008 Chestnut Filly sired by *Apollo El Jamaal and out of Last Luv by Psymadre

The past few months have been very exciting. Lots of new and exciting things happening here. As most of you know, I have been expecting my first Apollo El Jamaal foal this year. The wait was un-bearable, but well worth the wait!!! On April 3, 2008 our beautiful Last Luv (Psymadre x Luv Konnection) foaled a most exotic chestnut filly who we have named Sonjadora El Jamaal HBD (name pending). "Susie" as we have nicknamed her, is absolutely incredible in every way. A dynamic young filly who represents the best of her aristocratic heritage is destined for greatness. "Susie" represents the excellence of both her sire and dam. She has incredible breed type, with a distinct aristocratic quality and undeniable feminine allure. From her deeply chiseled face with extreme jibah, to her beautiful ears that curl at the tips, to her beautiful neck set high on a gorgeous body with very long legs. She has a tiny star and snip just like mom! I am just so thrilled with this filly, she has passed my highest expectations and if this is any indication of what Apollo El Jamaal is capable of siring, then the future looks very exciting.

As with many new beginnings, this one is extra special. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate a dear friend of mine, Madam Sophie Aligne of Clementine Arabians in France on her acquisition of this incredible filly. "Susie" will join the growing herd of beautiful mares that grace Sophie's pastures in France and will also join stable mate, the great *Soho Carol. Sophie has started to mold a program of grand proportions and I am so grateful she chose this exquisite filly who is sired by Apollo El Jamaal to be included in her breeding program. This is a dream come true. We can't wait to see this filly dance on the European show scene. Special thank you to Berengere Dubost for believing in my program and all her help!

The gorgeous *Savannah DSA !

It has been a most exciting start to 2008. Over the holidays, my sense of family becomes very strong, it allows me to reflect on all the wonderful things that I am so thankful for. My health, my family, and also all the incredible people who help, support and guide me. One thing is for certain, I am very blessed day in and day out and it's important to me to show my appreciation. I am just an ordinary person, someone who is small but has big dreams and who is enthralled and in love with the beauty and charisma of the Arabian horse. Knowing that these magnificent creatures rely on me for their care and needs and the wonderful people who I am introduced to through these incredible horses is the best feeling in the world.

Apollo El Jamaal, sired by *Jullyen El Jamaal and out of the Brazilian National Champion *Apollonia HCF, continues to entertain interest from all over, a colt who I chose as a weanling, believing that he was something truly special, is maturing into an incredible young Stallion. I still cannot believe our paths crossed, but I am so very thankful they did. While he is available at stud by private treaty, I will be selectively breeding him to a very small number of mares this year.

Another exciting (and emotional!) event was the arrival of the beautiful brood matron extrordinaire, *Savannah DSA! This Straight-Russian mare is the dam of International Champion producing Rohara Magnifica (by Echo Magnifficoo) who in turn is the dam of Majesstic (by *Besson Carol) 2004 U.S. Reserve National Champion Yearling Colt as well as Marquis CAHR (by *Marwan Al Shaqab) who has taken Europe and the Middle East by storm winning championships almost every time shown! We are so excited to breed *Savannah this spring, she brings a whole new dimension to my dreams of breeding beautiful Arabian horses!

I hope to be able to get out to some shows this year, take some photos and to see everyone out enjoying their Arabian horses. For now, I send my best wishes to everyone for a prosperous, happy and healthy New Year!

All my best!!!

|:| Spring & Summer News |:|

It has been a most exciting Spring and Summer! I cannot believe we are closing in on August so soon. As most of you know by now, the move to Scottsdale did not happen. Unfortunately, the immigration process to re-locate to the United States has become more and more difficult every year and while it is still a dream of mine, perhaps at this stage in my life it just isn't meant to happen.

So many wonderful things have been happening and I am so excited at what the next few years will bring. I've had to make a slight adjustment to Apollo El Jamaal's breeding schedule this year and while he continues to entertain interest from all over, I felt he just wasn't ready to breed to outside mares. He has a pretty impressive group of mares booked to him next spring and I am very grateful to the mare owners who have chosen him. I am most excited for the birth of Last Luv's foal due early Spring 2008 and sired by Apollo El Jamaal. Apollo El Jamaal brings an international appeal to my breeding program and is maturing into an incredible young colt. He is a pretty athlete and I am very excited to start him under saddle next year. I am so thankful for the support from friends and breeders who share the same enthusiasm as I do for breeding beautiful Arabian horses.

I've been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend some different shows up here throughout Regions 16 & 18 as well as both the Region 16 and Region 7 Championships. One thing that really is humbling to see is the changing ways handlers are presenting their halter horses. Region 16 had one of the most electrifying filly classes I've ever seen, a class full of tall, beautiful fillies with high set necks, tight ears, big eyes and lovely long, straight legs.

As Summer starts to wind down, I'd like to wish all my friends the best of luck at Youth Nationals, to those going on to Canadian Nationals in Regina and best of luck to everyone in Albuquerque at U.S. Nationals in October. Until then, my best wishes to everyone for a successful rest of the season.

We are very, VERY excited to announce that *APOLLONIA HCF, owned by Ventura Farms and the dam of our Apollo El Jamaal is the NUMBER ONE Leading Purebred Dam of Halter Horses at the 2005 U.S. National Championships! Hurray for Apollonia! To receive news that you're colt's dam is the best producing mare in the nation is absolutely incredible and we are blessed to have her son, who will breed on her legacy! Congratulations *Apollonia and Ventura Farms!
