On the surface, it may appear that Hollywood Arabians is a typical tale of achievement in the Arabian horse industry, however, our definition of achievement has a whole other meaning. Nestled alongside the St. Lawrence River in Spencerville, Ontario, Canada, only minutes from the Ogdensburg, New York border, and within a short thirty minute drive from Canada's capital city of Ottawa - there is a place that has come to be known as “the little place that could” by our many friends and family. Here, each horse has a special place in our heart's and special care is taken to cater not only to their physical health, but perhaps more importantly, to their mental health and happiness. Hollywood Arabians is home to a small, but impressive group of Arabian horses who represent the heritage of numerous Canadian, United States and International Champions - their pedigree's aristocratic. Hollywood Arabians was established on the foundation that happiness is most important in life. To that end, the horses' well-fare is always first and foremost and it is clearly understood that at the end of the day, its friends, family and the horses that mean the most. Everyone deserves a chance to get involved with this magnificent breed and enjoy it to the fullest, regardless of what level you want to play on and it is my goal to help those like so many have helped me. We're all here to have fun, and if we can be successful along they way - that's an added bonus!

Our Arabian horse involvement began many years ago when we purchased a 1/3 interest in the talented show mare, Bold Glory (Basks Bold One x Tahjean). Bold Glory was the epitome of an Arabian show horse. Her charisma, attitude and loving disposition made her extra special. She was a consumate show horse, winning numerous ribbons at the Class A, Regional, Scottsdale and National Level in Country, English and Native Costume. She lit the ring on fire and even though I was too young to ride her, her life was short lived. An early cold February morning, she was rushed to St. Hyacinthe Vet Clinic in Montreal, Quebec to undergo colic surgery. Unfortunately, she didn't make it. In April of 1995 our family was devastated when my mom lost her battle to Breast Cancer. An inspiration to all who met her, she was a woman who truly had a special way with people. A devoted wife and loving mother, it was her strong passion for life and her love for the Arabian horse that I always admired. The years following her death were extremely hard and made me grow up very quickly and experience life in a whole new perspective. It really is true how people have no idea what they have until it's gone. After her passing, I was determined to fulfill all our dreams of someday breeding, showing, admiring and appreciating the beauty of these magnificent horses. Over the past couple of years, I have slowly ventured back into the Arabian horse industry determined to make a difference. In March of 2006, in memory of my mother, I organized an online breeding auction to benefit the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. With the support of many stallion owners, as well as all the individuals who placed bids on the breedings, over $10,000 dollars was raised for Breast Cancer Research. This could not have been a success without the many generous people who took part in the auction.

While my show ring accolades pale considerably in comparison to others, the values and integrity I hold will always shine brightly. As another chapter in our lives come to a close, we take the time to reminisce the years and to remember all the wonderful blessings we have had - good health, great friends and most of all - our dear family. It is extremely important to me to be able to donate to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The friendships I continue to make are forever treasured and will long be forgotten. Special thanks to my dad Steve and you mom who have helped me become the person I am today, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am where I am today because of all the incredible people who have guided me over the past 21 years. Who have showed me right from wrong and those who have let me learn through trial and error. This is a new life for me and a new beginning... My achievements have not been garnering Regional and National Championships, rather, it has been a personal achievement of becoming involved with the best breed of all, making friends who will last a life time and sharing our love for the Arabian horse, together, forever and always!
